This video, presented by Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, will discuss how our thoughts, and particularly the running narrative of our life, or our story, influences how our brain functions. And, what might be done about it.
1. Discuss the default mode of the brain, how it functions and the impact it has on our daily life.
2. Describe how we can influence the way our brain responds and how it can affect our overall functioning.
About Dr Lewis Mehl-Madrona
Lewis Mehl-Madrona, M.D. PhD is a Diplomate in Psychiatry, a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a Diplomate in Family Medicine, and a member of the American Board of Family Medicine. He also holds qualifications in Geriatric Medicine, and membership in the American Boards of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. He holds a Ph.D., in Clinical Psychology, and an M.D., from Stanford University. He is the Training Director of the Coyote Institute for Studies of Change and Transformation, and has written over 100 journal articles and has published eight books.
